test

Taiwan Index Plus Corporation (TIP) has announced the results of the latest annual review of the Taiwan Stock Exchange RAFI® Taiwan High Compensation 100 Index. Eleven companies have been newly added to the index constituents, including Lotus Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (1795), Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp. (2645), Shin Kong Insurance Co., Ltd. (2850), 104 Corporation (3130), Zyxel Group Corporation (3704), ASMedia Technology Inc. (5269), Capital Securities Corporation (6005), WinWay Technology Co., Ltd. (6515), Wiwynn Corporation (6669), Tigerair Taiwan Co., Ltd. (6757), and Mega Union Technology Inc. (6944). The revised constituent list became effective on June 8.

The Taiwan High Compensation 100 Index is jointly compiled by the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and Research Affiliates LLC. According to the index methodology, constituent selection begins with all domestic companies listed on the TWSE and follows a multi-step screening process.

First, a liquidity screening is applied, excluding the bottom 20% of stocks ranked by average daily trading value over the most recent one-year period. Eligible companies are then evaluated based on compensation and profitability criteria. To qualify, companies must simultaneously meet the following requirements:

Rank within the top one-third of listed companies in terms of the arithmetic average of employee compensation and benefits expenses over the most recent three years;

Report a positive arithmetic average of net income after tax over the most recent three years; and

Maintain a book value per share of at least NT$10 at the end of the most recent fiscal year.

Qualified companies are subsequently ranked according to their Compensation Scale, which serves as the basis for final constituent selection.

To reduce constituent turnover and enhance index stability, a buffer mechanism is incorporated into the index methodology. Companies ranked within the top 80 by Compensation Scale are included as index constituents, while existing constituents are removed only if their ranking falls below 121.
